About Us & F.A.Q.'s

Who are we?

For thirteen years, our focus and main core work has been bathrooms and kitchens, We average twenty-five projects each year. Many of these are multi-project customers.

We pride ourselves on our customer feedback. The core of any organisation is the people. Working in a family home, it's very personal. We take great care to respect and put our customers and their families at ease with us being there.

We are assiduous and dependable and treat our customers and their properties with courtesy and respect.

Peace of mind throughout the whole process from concept to completion.

The Omega Team.

I head the Omega team and work alongside Dan completing all projects on site; I am always there to liaise with our customers. We are joined by regular members of the team including our trainee, Harrison, Scott our electrician, our gas engineer Matt, and our band of merry plasterers: Paul, Roy and Stuart.

Dan and I complete the work first-hand and also directly oversee any external trades. We always carefully monitor our projects using our skill and experience, keeping work on schedule with good time management. Active productivity means projects run smoothly, and without surprises, confusion, or unanswered questions.

We have different backgrounds and an effective blend of work experiences, approaches, problem-solving techniques, ideas, and solutions. What we share is passion, dedication, and attention to detail. It's a successful partnership combining our skills, focus, creativity, management, and vision, from draping dust sheets and carpet-protector roll at the first stage, right through to hoovering the hallway on our final day.

Dan

Working together in tight spaces is made a lot easier when you get along! Scorching summers in lofts, or howling wind and rain on ladders - we share it all.

Our working days are pleasant, upbeat, and productive. We tussle sometimes about the radio station choice, who’s asked Alexa to play a questionable tune, and critique each others singing, but we both also mesh, support and look out for each other. Lifted floorboards, electric cables, gas pipes, jagged nails, broken tiles, falling ceilings and power tools mean concentration and consideration for one another is a must.

Dan is an avid Wolverhampton Wanderers supporter. It’s important for us both to follow the results, albeit for slightly different reasons! He coaches a little league football team and invests a lot of time and energy into it. A skilled pool and snooker player, always keen to tell you his antics with a cue! Also loves tales and mysteries. Dislikes losing anything. A father of two, family life is busy and colourful. Dan is tea only – medium, white with one. Welcomes all types of biscuits.

I enjoy watching a good boxing match. I like re-kindling my mountain-biking antics with my lads and reminiscing how much faster and lighter I was on them 30 years ago! Movie props, collectables, and custom displays along with home automation and tech, keep me occupied in a bid to switch off from work! Love castles and history. Dislike bananas and excessive talking on radio shows. Tea and coffee – medium, white with one. Cookies are my firm favourite.

"This is the second time we have used Omega Developments and they did not disappoint. Hassle free, quality workmanship and very personable workers. They designed, supplied and fitted our downstairs toilet. Top notch quality. Would thoroughly recommend."

Frequently asked questions.

Every project is unique. Each customer is an individual and working in their homes is made easier with good communication, clear, honest and correct answers and advice. Below are some popular questions we get asked. Please get in touch if you have your own question.

Do you have a showroom?

We do not have a showroom. We are permanently working hard to hone the process of amassing the most suited brands and fittings from across the country and relay that to our customers with samples, images, videos, articles, tons of information and our photo-realistic rendered designs.

Bottom line, the cost of running a showroom has to be allocated to customers.

What hours do you work?

We are generally on site Monday – Friday 8am – 4pm

How long does the average bathroom take to complete?

We usually allocate a two-week window to fully refurbish a bathroom.

What facilities are usable during that time?

Bathing and showering facilities are removed the first day, water and central heating will be off for sections of some days but will be working every evening. If there is only one toilet it will be connected and working at the end of each day.

We discuss temporary kitchen options on application and do our best to accommodate customers needs.

Can you install a bathroom in a new extension or loft conversion?

Yes, absolutely. From designing it to liaising with builders to ensure facilities are available we can help at whatever stage the works are at.

Will you use our house facilities during the works.

We politely request the use of your house facilities like water, electricity, and toilet use.

How does payment work?

For an average bathroom we take an initial payment at the time of booking (usually £500) At the end of our first day on site a payment of approx. half the project. One week on half the remaining balance and the remainder upon completion and satisfaction.

Do you offer credit facilities?

At present we do not offer finance packages.

Can I influence and decide on fixtures and fittings?

Of course. You will be given an abundance of choice along with expert advice and tips on every aspect. Not a pile of catalogues and all the responsibility left with you.
